Nathania Ong, acclaimed for her role as Éponine in London's West End production of Les Misérables, returns to Singapore for a charity concert like no other. This remarkable event, titled "Spirit of Giving: Nathania Ong - A Musical Homecoming," will take place at the Esplanade Concert Hall on December 20, 2023, with all proceeds benefiting the Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF).
 

Nathania's Journey:
After a triumphant five-year stint in the UK, Nathania Ong became the first Singaporean to portray Éponine in Les Misérables. Her journey, from being discovered by renowned producer Cameron Mackintosh to her standing ovation-worthy performance at the BBC's Big Night of Musicals, is a testament to her talent and tenacity. She's a graduate of the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.
 

The Concert Experience:
Nathania Ong promises an enchanting evening of musical theatre masterpieces in her homecoming performance. Directed and produced by Kuo Po, this concert not only celebrates Nathania's return but also showcases young budding artists. The pre-show features exceptionally gifted performers, including vocalists, a harpist, a dancer, and a multifaceted musician.
 

Musical Extravaganza:
The concert will feature renditions of beloved classics such as "Don't Rain On My Parade" and a Disney Medley. A dance element, with the talented dancer Emily Ho, adds depth and artistic expression to the performance of "One Night Only" from Dreamgirls The Musical. She will be accompanied by her father, Kevin Ong, in their heart warming duet, The Prayer. An orchestra led by conductor Kelvin Loh, a distinguished musician from Malaysia, guarantees a delightful experience for fans of all ages.

Supporting Arts and Youth:
This event is not only about music but also about supporting underserved children and youths in Singapore. Nett proceeds from the concert will contribute to making the arts more accessible to these young individuals through the BT BAF.
